7-22-2011 Finally, I fished the Stillwater yesterday and it was good. There is still a lot of water, but it is crystal clear up high, and the fish were eating. I did a short afternoon float, and we caught fish the whole time we were on the river. We fished nymphs the whole time and caught fish from boat ramp to boat ramp. Towards the end of our float I saw a few PMD's on the water, and one fish rise. My buddies had to get home so we did not have time to stop and check it out any further.
